Go Into GCSEs Confident, Prepared, and Ahead in Geography

For GCSE students who need stronger exam technique, clearer structure, and expert guidance from experienced examiners.

Many students do not struggle because they lack intelligence. They struggle because nobody has properly taught them:

  • how to answer exam questions
  • how examiners award marks
  • how to apply knowledge under pressure
  • how to revise effectively

Helping students operate at a Grade 8/9 level — a structured reset led by experienced examiners.

For Parents

Does This Sound Like Your Child?

Your child

  • Understands geography when they actually engage with it
  • Has fallen behind gradually rather than suddenly
  • Struggles with longer exam questions
  • Loses focus in large classes
  • Lacks confidence in their answers
  • Knows more than their current grades show

Many students we work with are not struggling because they lack intelligence. They are struggling because they have never properly been taught exam technique, structured revision, and how to stay engaged consistently.

The Confidence Spiral

The Confidence Spiral Most Parents Miss

When students begin falling slightly behind, geography quickly becomes frustrating.

  • They disengage in lessons.
  • They stop answering questions confidently.
  • Revision becomes inconsistent.
  • Over time, they begin believing they simply aren't good at geography.

Our programmes are designed to reverse that cycle before Year 11.

Founder

Founded By Freya Ruparel

Olympus Geography was founded by Freya Ruparel, a Cambridge geography graduate and experienced geography educator who has helped hundreds of students improve confidence, exam technique, and academic performance.

After working closely with students across GCSE and A Level, Freya recognised that most students were never explicitly taught how to write for top band marks. Olympus Geography was built to bridge that gap through examiner-led teaching, structured systems, and high performance academic mentoring.

Today, Olympus Geography works with a team of experienced examiners and specialist tutors to help ambitious students achieve top GCSE outcomes (Grade 8–9) and A-Level results (A/A*) while developing genuine confidence and independent learning skills.

"Miss Hannah helped me during my GCSEs when I was struggling the most. Just in a few months she helped me cover every GCSE Geography topic. Before I had my lessons with her my grade was a 1 but with her guidance my next result was a grade 7. Without her help I couldn't have achieved it. She is very patient with her students and she willingly supports us to do better in every situation."
